2. Platform Fees

2.1 For Freelancers (Service Providers)

Skillspin operates on a credit-based system for freelancers to connect with potential clients:

• Connection Credits: Each connection with a client requires 2 credits.
• Free Connects: New freelancers receive 3 free connects to get started.
• Free Job Applications: 0 free applications to jobs (one-time allowance).
• Gig Slots: Create up to 3 gigs for free. Additional slots available for purchase.
• Profile Creation: Creating and maintaining a freelancer profile is free.
• Profile Visibility: Your profile and gigs are visible to all potential clients at no cost.

2.2 For Clients (Buyers)

Client accounts have the following pricing structure:

• Account Creation: Free to create and maintain.
• Browsing Freelancers: Browse all freelancer profiles and gigs at no cost.
• Free Job Postings: Post up to 2 job requirements for free (one-time allowance).
• Receiving Proposals: Receive unlimited proposals from freelancers at no charge.
• Connection Fees: No fees for connecting with freelancers who apply to your jobs.

3. Credit System

3.1 Purchasing Credits

Freelancers can purchase credits to facilitate connections with clients. Credit packages are available in the following tiers:

3.2 Credit Usage

• Credits are consumed when initiating a connection with a potential client (2 credits per connection).
• Credits are non-refundable once used for connections.
• Unused credits do not expire and remain in your account.

3.3 Free Allowances

New users receive the following one-time free allowances:

4. Payment Processing

4.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for credit purchases:

• Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay)
• Debit cards
• UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
• Net banking
• Wallet payments (e.g., Paytm, PhonePe)

4.2 Payment Security

All payment transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways. Skillspin does not store your complete payment details on our servers.

5. Transaction Fees

Skillspin facilitates connections between freelancers and clients. All financial arrangements for services rendered are made directly between the freelancer and the client. Skillspin does not take a percentage of service fees or payments made between freelancers and clients.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 Credit Purchases

• Unused credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase.
• Credits that have been used to make connections are non-refundable.
• Refund requests must be submitted via email to support@skillspin.com.
• Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days.

6.2 Service Disputes

Since Skillspin facilitates connections only, we do not mediate payment disputes for services rendered between freelancers and clients. All service agreements and payments are the responsibility of the parties involved.

7. Promotional Offers

From time to time, Skillspin may offer promotional credits or discounts. Terms and conditions will apply to each promotion:

• Promotional credits may have expiration dates.
• Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless specified.
• Skillspin reserves the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.

8. Price Changes

Skillspin reserves the right to modify our pricing structure at any time. We will provide notice of significant price changes:

• Users will be notified via email at least 30 days before any price increases.
• Credits purchased before a price change will remain valid at the original purchase value.
• Continued use of the platform after price changes indicates acceptance of the new pricing.

9. Taxes

All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes (such as GST) may be added to your purchase based on your location and local regulations. Tax amounts will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

10. Currency and International Payments

All transactions on Skillspin are processed in Indian Rupees (INR). If you are purchasing from outside India, your financial institution may charge currency conversion fees.

11. Account Termination

If your account is terminated for violation of our Terms of Service:

• Unused credits will be forfeited without refund.
• No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of credit packages.
• Skillspin reserves the right to suspend access immediately upon detection of policy violations.
